Introduction
Fundamentals of Computer Graphics is a courseware module designed to give students an understanding of the fundamental principles and techniques used at the heart of modern graphics systems. Each section in the courseware corresponds to one taught lecture plus tutorial work and self directed study.
New
Graphics modulers check for the following software and/or documents on the department FTP site (ftp://194.80.193.185):
- ImagProc directory has a simple filter program, with source code in Pascal
- Fractals directory has some simple fractal programs
- Video directory has a MPEG movie viewing program (DOS) with 2 sample MPEG files
- 3D directory has some example programs including a Raytrace program with source code
- Docs directory has a whole collection of documents in Word 6.0 format which are background and/or essential reading for the module. This directory will expand without further notice.
